Why martial arts
Martial arts give children something few other activities combine: structured physical training, a clear ladder of progress, and a habit of self-control. Children learn to listen, wait their turn, repeat a movement until it is right, and show respect to a partner.
What children gain
- Fitness and coordination: balance, flexibility and strength built through repetition.
- Focus: learning a sequence of movements is a lesson in concentration.
- Confidence: progress is visible and earned.
- Respect: bowing in, partner work and clear rules shape behaviour beyond the mat.
How it works
This activity is chosen by the family and charged per term, separately from tuition. Ask Admissions how sessions fit your child's week and year group.
