Years 1 & 2 Framework
Foundational Primary (Ages 5–7)
The move from play-based Early Years into sit-down academic work, taken in stages rather than in one step.
- Systematic synthetic phonics, daily reading, and first structured writing
- Number fluency and problem solving to national expectations
- Science, Kiswahili, art, music and PE — all taught weekly
- Twenty-five children per class, capped
