Music for every child
Music is part of the British National Curriculum at every Key Stage, so every child sings, plays and listens as part of the timetable. Our multipurpose hall has a stage, so performance is part of school life rather than an occasional event.
Individual piano lessons
Piano lessons add one-to-one instrumental teaching for children who want to go further: reading music, technique and pieces to perform.
What children gain
- Concentration and memory from practice.
- Fine-motor control and coordination between hands.
- Reading a second language: musical notation.
- Confidence from performing what they have practised.
How it works
This activity is chosen by the family and charged per term, separately from tuition. Ask Admissions how sessions fit your child's week and year group.
