Genuinely optional: chosen by the family, never assumed.
Why riding
Riding builds balance, core strength and confidence, and it teaches children to care for an animal that depends on them. Karen and its surroundings have a long equestrian tradition, which makes it a natural activity to offer here.
How it works
Horse riding is chosen by the family and charged per term, separately from tuition. Ask Admissions how sessions are scheduled for your child's year group and age.
The other optional activities
- Taekwondo or karate: discipline and fitness
- Piano lessons: individual instrumental tuition
- Chess: strategy and concentration
- Ballet or skating: movement and poise
