Elyton's Crèche is the first of four Early Years settings on our Magadi Road campus in Karen, before Playgroup, Nursery and Reception. Tuition for 2026 / 2027 is KES 150,000 per term, and it includes meals, textbooks and stationery.

A setting built at the right scale
Our Early Years spaces sit apart from the older children, with their own rooms and their own outdoor ground. A child's first experience of school happens at a child's scale: familiar adults, a predictable day, and room to play.
The Crèche follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), the framework every setting from Crèche to Reception at Elyton is built on. At this age that means play, language and routine rather than lessons.
What the Crèche day is built around
- Talking and listening. Songs, stories and conversation through the day: the foundation of every later skill.
- Moving. Outdoor play on the Early Years ground, climbing, running and fine-motor play indoors.
- Feeling settled. The same adults each day, so children learn to trust their setting before anything else.
- Eating well. Meals are part of tuition, served on site.
Joining the Crèche
Tell us your child's age and when you need a place, and Admissions will confirm whether the Crèche or Playgroup is the right setting. Places are open for September 2026 and January 2027. Admissions confirms every child's starting point after a short, relaxed "Meet your child" session.
From the Crèche, children move up through Playgroup, Nursery and Reception, then into Key Stage 1 at Year 1, all on the same campus.
