Playgroup at Elyton is called Sprout. It follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage on our campus on Magadi Road, Karen, in classes capped at twenty-five. Tuition for 2026 / 2027 is KES 250,000 per term, including meals, textbooks and stationery.

Tuition includes meals, textbooks and stationery. A 5% discount applies to the sibling of an Elyton pupil.
Learning through play, on purpose
The EYFS is built on the idea that young children learn most through play that adults plan carefully and join in with. In Sprout, that means block-building that becomes counting, stories that become new words, and outdoor play that builds the strength and coordination writing will later need.
The seven areas of learning
Every Early Years setting at Elyton works across the seven areas the EYFS sets out:

- Personal, social and emotional development
- Physical development
- Literacy
- Mathematics
- Understanding the world
- Expressive arts and design
The first three are the foundations, and they carry the most weight at Playgroup age.
A wing of their own
Sprout sits in our Early Years wing, apart from the older children, with its own rooms and outdoor ground. Classes are capped at twenty-five from our founding year, and that ceiling never moves to make room for one more.
Joining Sprout
Places are open for September 2026 and January 2027. Tell us your child's date of birth and Admissions will confirm whether Playgroup is the right setting. Admissions confirms every child's starting point after a short, relaxed "Meet your child" session.
