GET INVOLVED

The Alumni Vision

Our first cohort starts in 2026. Rather than borrow anyone else's story, we have written down exactly what we intend an Elyton education to be worth for life.

An honest page

Elyton’s alumni story begins with our founding cohort.

We open to our founding cohort in 2026. Our oldest pupils will be in Year 6, so the first people who can call themselves Elyton alumni leave us in 2027. What we can show you now is the standard they will be held to, written down before a single name goes up.

It is the more useful thing to read before choosing a school: not what was achieved with other people’s children years ago, but what we are building for yours.

The Vision

Our alumni will…

Our alumni will read the world closely.

They will leave us able to sit with a difficult text, argue with it, and change their minds in public without embarrassment. Literacy, to us, has never meant decoding words. It means the confidence to enter a conversation that is already above your head.

Our alumni will be at home in more than one place.

They will carry Karen with them - its light, its languages, its manners - into universities and workplaces anywhere on earth, and they will arrive without the anxiety of the outsider. Locally rooted, globally minded, exactly as we mean it.

Our alumni will be kind in ways that cost them something.

Character is not a value printed on a wall. We will judge our own success by whether our leavers defend the child nobody else is defending, and whether that instinct survives contact with the adult world.

Our alumni will come back.

They will return to run a swimming session, to sit on a careers panel, to tell a nervous Year 3 that they were nervous too. A school only truly exists once the people it raised choose to walk back through its gate.

Juncta Juvant - together, we strive. Including the children who arrive this year.

Founding cohort

Somebody has to be first

The children in our founding cohort will name the houses, set the records and hold every school title there is to hold, because there is nobody above them to hold it first. They will be the alumni this page is written for. Founding places are open now.

Meet us on 29 August
