GET INVOLVED

Community Culture

Most schools hand new parents a culture settled years before they arrived. Ours has not been written yet.

You are not joining a community. You are the reason there will be one.

What a founding year actually gives you

Influence, while things are still soft

In an established school, the calendar, the house system and the unwritten rules about what parents do and do not do were settled long before you arrived. Changing any of it is a campaign.

None of that is fixed here yet. The families who arrive in 2026 will decide a great deal of it simply by being the first people in the room when the question comes up.

What we plan to build together

These are intentions, published so you can hold us to them. Founding families will help decide the shape each one takes.

  1. Term 1

    A founding parents' forum

Regular sessions with the Head of School through year one, with genuine influence over how the school settles. In a founding cohort there is no established way of doing things to defer to.

  2. Term 2

    Our first Cultural Day

A celebration of every language and heritage that walks through our gate in year one, designed with the families who bring them rather than programmed for them.

  3. Ongoing

    Parent workshops

Practical sessions on early literacy, on how the British curriculum actually assesses a child, and on supporting a child through a move between school systems.
